Debunking the misconceptions of bats and embracing them as a vital part of our ecosystem.
We believe that bats are very misunderstood creatures. They have been portrayed as both heroes and villains in pop culture. However, the truth is they are animals that are becoming increasingly threatened by habitat loss and disease (white nose) that experts are yet to completely diagnose. It would be great if humans would embrace them as helpers in the fight against pests (Did you know that a single brown bat can eat 600 mosquitoes in one hour?) and encourage bat sanctuary and habitat in the neighborhood.
